Building affordable homes is everyone’s business and this special Pride ReStore Challenge is a great way to celebrate diversity and inclusivity by helping to build up our community through the work our ReStores contribute to building homes for local families. Join us as we harness the power of Pride Month to help families build strength, stability and self-reliance.
The ReStore Challenge encourages participants to select items from our ReStore and use their creativity to upscale them to increase the value of the product. Revenue from our ReStores has a direct impact on the work we do in the community, building homes for local families.
Participants will be supplied with tools and materials to bring their ideas to life - sometimes all an item needs is a little love and creativity (and maybe paint, fabric or patterns!).
We look forward to seeing what everyone comes up with!
All Pride ReStore Challenge participants are encouraged to fundraise towards our goal of $1500 and join us for an exciting ReStore Challenge. All funds raised go directly to support Habitat for Humanity Waterloo Region’s build program.
The event is 9am-4pm at the Waterloo ReStore, 120 Northfield Drive East, Waterloo.
