First Renovation in Kitchener, Habitat for Humanity Waterloo Region

Our First Renovation

The first ever Habitat for Humanity Waterloo Region build project was a home renovation on 14 Devon Street in Kitchener, Ontario.

In 1989, the first Habitat family, the Franks, moved into their spacious four-bedroom, two-story detached home. Built with the help of 89 volunteers and many donors, the family of six was given the opportunity for a better life.

By becoming a volunteer or donor with Habitat Waterloo Region, you become a part of a story just like this.
